How can a spot welder ensure that the cooling water flow rate meets the standard?

If the core components of the spot welder, such as electrodes and transformers, cannot be cooled in time, the equipment performance may be degraded or even damaged. 

So how to ensure that the cooling water flow rate meets the standard?


1. Install a flow monitoring device

Monitor the flow and pressure of the cooling water in real time to ensure that it always meets the standard.


2. Use a chiller

For high-load welding operations, it is recommended to configure a chiller to adjust the cooling water temperature to ensure that the water temperature is stable.


3. Clean the cooling system regularly

Check the cooling pipes regularly, remove blockages and scale, and ensure that the water flow is smooth.


4. Adjust the equipment load

Reasonably allocate welding tasks to avoid long-term high-load operation of the equipment to reduce cooling pressure.
