The harsh sound produced by the spot welder during welding is mostly related to welding parameters, workpiece status, electrode problems and equipment failure. This problem can be effectively solved by optimizing parameters, cleaning the surface, maintaining equipment and other measures.
1. Optimize welding parameters
Reduce welding current: adjust welding current to the appropriate range according to material thickness and process requirements.
Increase welding pressure: Check the pneumatic system to ensure that the pressure is stable and within the recommended range.
2. Check the workpiece surface
Clean the workpiece surface, remove oil, rust and oxide layer, reduce contact resistance, and ensure smooth welding.
3. Replace or repair electrodes
Regularly check whether the electrode head is worn or deformed. If there is a problem, repair or replace the electrode head in time.
Choose a suitable electrode material, such as copper-chromium-zirconium alloy, which is wear-resistant and has good conductivity.
4. Repair equipment
Check whether the transformer and circuit system are working properly, and replace aging or damaged parts if necessary.
Maintain the pneumatic system to ensure stable pressure output.
5. Adjust the process according to material characteristics
For special materials such as galvanized sheet, adjust the welding parameters appropriately, such as reducing the current and shortening the welding time, while ensuring the surface of the workpiece is clean.
